March 17th stuff

Hi all,
Here's some quick thoughts on whatever.

• Man, I am sick of cold weather! Looks like some 50 degree weather finally coming to town. Getting excited about 50 degree weather is pretty sad!
• March Madness kicks off today. I'm in 1 office pool. Thus far my underdog pick has won, but a pick that a co-worker talked me into didn't. Oh well, more games to play.
• I ran a 4 mile race on Sunday. Wow, it was cold. It was 23 degrees and windy. I wore shorts with a jacket and a hat and gloves. There were about 250 fools running, only about 10 in shorts. I was A-OK after the race started, but it was cold waiting for the start. Time: 30:27.
• I'm glad that the Senate voted to drill in ANWR in Alaska. We should drill more in the good ole' USA. Prices for a barrel of oil are around $56. I am disappointed in Senator Mike DeWine's vote.
• I think that private accounts should be an option for anyone contributing to social security.
