Feb. 27th Ramblings

Hey all,
One more day in February - I can't wait! I'm ready for some warm weather. Unfortunately, the warm weather is probably at least 4 - 6 weeks away. Ugh! Golf season starts again on 4/19. I hung up my bag in September and am getting that 'itch' to play again.

I am also looking forward to playing softball again in April. That's all for now..

Valentine day

I am certainly not the romantic type of guy at all - ask my wife. But Happy 2/14 to all. My wife and I celebrated the day by exercising at the Y and having subway for supper. Yeah, we exchanged cards and I got her a couple of flowers.

My grandfather, who passed away sevaral years back at age 93, was born on this date and was named Valentine. He worked on the railroad for years, drank wine, played a small string instrument whose name I can not recall, maybe a mandolin.
