United Way

Hi all,
I give to United Way like a lot of you. On my pledge card, I selected that my contributions go to the Boy Scouts. In today's paper, I read that UW wanted to cut their funding, stating that they discriminate. They have a compromise solution, put all funds in a place called 'Life lesons for girls and boys'. Give me a break. I don't want my money going here!! How would you feel if your money was directed somewhere other that your selected destination?

Say for example, that you gave 100% of your funds to select interest fund that you wanted money to go. No problem by me, it's your money. How would you feel if it was redirected without talking to you?

In my opinion, liberal 'do gooders' are nuts to redirect my contributions. I will withdraw from UW and send my money direct to where i want it to go!.
